Pathfinder A+ acquisition professionals perform acquisition planning, preparing solicitations, proposal analysis, post-award activities and closeout in support of both simple and complex government acquisitions including fixed price, IDIQ, T&M, Labor Hour, and Blanket Purchase Agreements.

Health Communications

Pathfinder A+ provides Health Communication Support Services and Enhancements to Facilitate Integration and Data Exchange at the Federal, State, and Local Level: Performs full lifecycle acquisition support services. We assist with Medical Sharing, Prosthetics, Services and Supplies, Leasing Construction, and operational and maintenance accounts. Our services for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) at multiple locations supports America’s largest integrated health care system, providing care at 1,240 healthcare facilities, including 170 medical centers and 1,061 outpatient sites, serving 9 million enrolled Veterans each year.

Health IT Integration

The Pathfinder A+ Team has helped the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) complete more than a dozen studies related to health care systems and health IT integration. Examples include a feasibility study for developing an automated tool to compare and evaluate commercial electronic health records (EHR) systems, analytical support to monitor ONC’s Beacon sites, and research and analysis that supported ONC’s development of the Interoperability Roadmap Evaluation.

Health IT Standards Development

Pathfinder A+ has supported ONC’s development of health IT standards, notably through our support for the development and implementation of testing and certification standards for all phases of the Meaningful Use program. In addition, we have supported various efforts such as the National Health IT Standards Committee (HITSC) and ONC’s efforts to promulgate standards such as FHIR and HL7.

Lifecycle Budgeting / Acquisition

Pathfinder A+ designed and developed a Performance Management System (PMS) for DHS. PMS is fully integrated and interfaces with DHS PRISM, Federal Financial Management System (FFMS), Webview, C-FIT and other financial systems to reconcile, analyze and extrapolate Purchase Requests, Requisitions, service orders, modifications, contracts, invoices, obligations, expenditures and accounting data. PRISM is a web-based, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) procurement and contract management system. Webview is the DHS invoice processing system. C-FIT is the contractor employee fitness and suitability assessment.
